Plot Hole or am I Missing Something?

I know Leslie said teenagers dare themselves to come stay in the farm house on the anniversary of "his" death, but how did he know Kelly would be one to come stay?

I realize the movie really wasn't about her, and I loved it, but that little piece of it annoyed me. It was the only part that seemed too convenient or whatever.

Perhaps he chose her after finding out the she was part of a group of kids who where planing to go up there. Maybe he did some *beep* like with the fake article and planted the idea in her head and we just didn't see it. At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter....hell, I never stopped and thought about it until reading this thread.

It is odd, though, that after already seeing the disturbing news article, and then seeing Leslie kill the librarian right in front of her, and being talked to by Doc Halloran, Kelly would still not only come to the house, but have noisy, carefree sex with the nerdy guy.

I'm thinking since Kelly ended up being the regular victim of a slasher movie she of course would be stupid and do all the wrong things.

The same way he knew everything his future victims would do. Slasher film convention.
