New plot hole I hadn't thought of before (SPOILERS?)

This one just occurred to me last night.

If Leslie completely fabricated the story of his "mother's" rape, and invented the rapist, Kelly's "great-uncle", out of thin air, when Kelly saw the clipping, how did she know that was supposed to be her great-uncle, and not a great-great-uncle or distant cousin or something?

maybe it said so in the article ^^

No, because a) the article was apparently dated before Kelly was born; and b) I doubt it listed her parents either, because news articles like that one generally don't list the person's relatives, like an obituary would.

Maybe Leslie had just studied Kelly enough to somehow know she'd think "great-uncle" when she saw the clipping. The guy's good -- who knows?

who cares about plot holes? he effin slaughtered those kids, and i enjoyed every single minute of it :)

Cause some people are smart enough to do math in their heads and can tell from the date of the article.

Yes, articles like that usually wouldn't reference the guy's relative, but this was an article fabricated by Leslie. It would say whatever he wants it to.

He didn't make it ALL up. Clearly since the librarian knew the whole story. The only part he fabricated was Kelly's great uncle's involvement(a person who never actually existed).

And the year the incident occurred would suggest which generation of her family this uncle would have been from.
