I was looking forward to seeing this film as I am a big fan of the slasher genre. I knew it was meant to be a comedy horror but I didnt really laugh and was not scared at all...in fact I wanted to hit the fast forward button through some scenes but withheld. I need to see a decent horror to restore my faith in 'new' horror movies!

well for satires and parodies : I liked Fido, Barking Dogs Never Bite, American Psycho, Scream, Tucker & Dale VS evil, Idle Hand, And Cabin in the Woods. I also enjoyed Zombieland and Shaun of The Dead. For creepy satires, I thought Ginger Snaps, Teeth and Deadgirl were pretty good. Feast, Braindead and Undead (2003) were kinda fun.
Heck even Scary Movie was fun. This, this i would put on the same level as the kinda fun films. The first half at least.
The older horrors are the best. OK, You don't always get the best acting...but the settings and pace afre usually winners!
And to SoundGuard...the main point of these boards is to warn others what to expect..and sometimes try to stop someone wasting their time watching some crap!
This movie is far from crap. Sounds like you need a time machine.
