Dammit... I wanted to see those two geek over "Who" like no other. 

I'm disappointed, too. It would have been a great segment and more good publicity for Doctor Who.

Probably too busy doing the publicity circuit in Britain. The actors have a tough schedule in the lead up to the start of a new series/Christmas.

...right at the very end, when Craig is finally leaving to walk the earth, Peter Capaldi will enter the stage, saying "Why walk the earth, when you can travel the stars?", and whisks him away with the Tardis! Then they will solving galactical crimes together and tripping on acid like two madmen with a box!
