I feel like Aisha Tyler was a token suggestion.

No this is not a rant about women comedians. Just one's named Aisha Tyler. She's a ten in the looks department, but I'd say a 1 in the humor department. I've never heard her say anything funny unless it was written for her. There's no way she was ever seriously considered to take Craig's place right?. Unless the producer's wanted the entire show to deliberately take a ratings dive and implode.

On the other hand tommorow night it's Lauren Graham's turn, an LLS fixture during both Craigs runs and looking very much like a future host herself. (what with her soon to star as a fictional one in an upcoming tv show)

I first saw Aisha as the hostess of Talk Soup on E! and she was funny on that. She also had a multi-episode arc on Friends. That being said, she couldn't have replaced Craig Ferguson, she's better as 1/5 of The Talk.

I liked when Aisha hosted the show when they was searching for a replacement for Kilborn. She did a good job with the show, I think if they gave her a chance she could pull off hosting her own show she would do good.

I was at a taping of "Whose line is it anyway?" (they actually shot 2 that night - one with Cedric the entertainer and one with Penn & Teller - My friend and I are sitting right behind her and appearently I have a "melon head" according to Colin - you´ll hopefully see it) and Aisha was hilarious between the takes.
She goofed around with the audience and everything.
She´s not just a 10 in the looks department but at least an 8 in the funny department. I honestly didn´t expect that.
