One year anniversary

I suppose with Jimmy Fallon and his silly games Craig is probably better off having not taken the Late Show but couldn't he get a Conan type deal on a cable network somewhere. Still looking forward to his History channel show. 🎈

I miss Craig and Geoff--it's been a long year. But CBS now has the celebrity schmoozefest it wanted (or thought it wanted) and all of late night TV is a moronic, unwatchable mess, so I guess entropy wins again.

I was hoping he'd get a 30 minute show leading into Conan but now Samantha Bee is getting that but it remains to be seen if she lasts more than a season. Also, look at the ratings the last few weeks it seems CBS isn't really getting the return on their investment in Colbert. He regularly is behind Fallon and Kimmel and has even finished behind Seth Myers a few times.

I find myself wondering if he regrets leaving LLS. I don't think he'll ever say if he does though.

I do not know why it hasn't been mentioned much on this board, but he does have a new show premiering several days from now. It appears to be a talk show on History channel where comedians discus historical events from a different, presumably comedic, perspective. I have not seen any footage from it, so I am not 100% what it will be.

It will be an interesting nontraditional comeback, and it might just be inspirational.
