Can anyone tell me, what piece of Chopin music is played in ballet
"Les Sylphides" and who orchestrated it? Thank you.
"les Sylphides" is a collection of Chopin pieces which have been orchestrated by various people. The one I have is on a Deutsche Grammophone CD with Herbert von Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic. The orchestration is by Roy Douglas. This is now available on Amazon as part of a multiple disk set, and you can listen to excerpts.
