This movie is really about coping with the pain of..... (spoilers)
the tragic events that befell the U.S.A. on September 11th, 2001. That point becomes clear by the end when Gilbert Gottfried's version is introduced. Great editing in this movie. And I have a new-found respect for Gottfried. God bless the First Amendment to our great Constitution.
