Wasted Time

I like a filthy joke as much as the next person but this movie was a genuine piece of crap. Honestly, I've heard my fourth grader tell funnier knock-knock jokes. I can't believe that over a hundred excellent comedians agreed to participate in this woeful misadventure...

Well I'm glad someone finally said it!

The comedy hall of fame in flames, maybe save for Robin Williams and Carrie Fisher(and se isn't even a comedian).

agreed. I have heard several comedians that were in it disliked it too.

It was just boring and pointless. The glowing reviews made me see it. I didn't get why anyone who like this garbage.

The glowing reviews puzzle me too. It speaks volumes of human fears and behavior. Nobody wants to be called one of the dirtiest of all names now days: Prude.

I had a friend talk me into watching this trash. I was hoping it was some 20 minute thing (or less) to get it over with. me and my girl friend where just wondering WTF my friend was laughing about. then, because we weren't laughing or saying anything, he kept looking at us with his wife, and saying "You get it, right?"
Like how does anyone not undersand it? I actually felt like I was being tortured and waiting for it to just end. Almost like watching some talentless child's video that their parents want you to see, and you have to pretend you like it.

I guess it depends on the person, I personally loved the film and found the joke hilarious, but that's just me.

This film is actually a great study in folklore!

If you're looking for entertainment, few will enjoy 80mins of something that was made up inside of comedian's groups--not made up for the public.

See it for what it is.

That being said, it probably is a waste of time for most of the public; yes, even those who enjoy dirty jokes and aren't offended by something like this.

That this joke is some holy grail among the secret fraternity of comedians (as if such a thing existed) is a fantasy invented by the makers of this film in order to create a story worth hearing. It is merely a joke that made the rounds, many times told filthy, so it stayed relatively clear of pop culture. Occasionally a comic, as comics do, would make fun of the fact that this joke is filthy, such as Gilbert Gottfried did, and amplify the filth to a point of ridiculousness. This mocks the inappropriateness of the joke more than it pays homage to it.
