WOW! Someone whom i finally agree with. It was one of the most vile movies I think i had ever seen, and i have seen it all.

Wait - you saw "American Pie" in the title and you somehow thought this was going to be a great film on a par with Citizen Kane, Gone with the Wind or Sound of Music? Were you expecting stellar screenwriting along the lines of Shakespeare or Arthur Miller? Acting talent to rival Olivier or Hepburn (either) or Brando?
Didn't "American Pie" in the title tip you off it was going to be aimed at teenage boys, be filled with sexual innuendo, lewd jokes, gutter humor and the like? And further - this is the third sequel. In Hollywood, how often do film franchises get better with each new installment?
Not that there's really anything wrong with various flim genres, because each has it's place, but to see this film and complain that it's "rubbish" as if you had no clue what it was going to be like is silly. It's like going to see Sound of Music and then complaining because of all the singing.

shareI agree sequels use to be worse, besides we already know what we're gonna get, there is no surprise effect. Nevertheless they could gather all the original team with jim, oz, kev and make a new story. One of the main problems with sequels is trying to make a branded franchised film with new actors. it just won't work out.
Is like making a new back to the future without Micheal J. Fox or a new Terminator without Arnold schwarzenegger.
American Pie has lost a little more with each subsequent film. In #2, at least they brought back most of the characters; The Wedding had Stifler getting redemption. But this... a way to make money off the brand without having to pay any of the actors, Eugene Levy aside. They could just hire fresh faces for the bare minimum.

I really didn't like this movie. The character Matt was trying waaaay to hard to be like Seann William Scott. I mean VERY hard... I think they even got someone who looked similar to him. Why they didn't keep the character the same from the first two movies I'll never know.

shareUh hello? Tad Hilgenbrink's character Matt was trying hard to be like Sean William Scott's character Steven a.k.a. 'Stifler' because that's the whole point! Young brother idolizes his older brother, so the former copies latter's every move just to be 'cool'. Did you miss that little plot element? And they intentionally hired an actor who looks much like Sean William Scott so that Matt's relationship with Steven will be much more obvious. Did you really watch the movie?
shareya tad was trying to be like sean b/c it is the point, to be the STIFFLER! duh haha. this was my favorite one but i havent seen the 4th or the 6th yet. ok so like how many stifflers do they have? they have steve, matt, erik and dwight are they all supposed to be brothers? or not b/c they also change who plays mrs stiffler
