When they are playing pool, the FBI character tells Cage that if he doesn't
help them she will see that he winds up in "Folsom State Prison" for what happened in the casino. How can they send him to Folsom for something that happened in Nevada? Folsom is in California.

Help stamp out and do away with redundancy

Yes you do for a State crime which Auto theft is.
If you rob a liquor store in San Antonio Texas, you do not go to a Prison in Santa Fe, New Mexico... You go to the TEXAS prison system, Not New Mexico's

She may have been a Federal Agent, but the Charge (Auto Theft) was a State, not Federal Crime. All she could do was turn him over to the local cops.

I think it is because Folsom sounds tougher than High Desert State Prison, especially with the whole Johnny Cash connection.

I hate people who use big words just to make themselves look perspicacious.
