There were 3 women in this movie with major parts. Every one of them were sensible, mature, good fighters, intelligent, calm etc basically their characters were almost perfect. Yet all the male characters ,with the exception of the main guy, were basically idiots. they were all stupid, poor soldiers, undisciplined, sex addicted, testosteroned filled morons.

bigpapajake21, I agree with you. I laugh when I see pretty young 110 lb. women playing it tough. I mean, it's already a scifi film, why make it less believable with those types of characters. At least, if you want to add women, put in big, bodybuilding women. That would be more realistic and alot more fun.

It was good to see more than one female character playing a strong willed role model. There aint no feminism to it in my opinion. Women are allowed to kick ass too right?

As far as women and Special Forces is concerned, I dont think you'd see any fat loud mouthed *beep* who cant shoot for sh*t in a SF outfit either. Judging by how pathetic as an armed force this so called 'team' was, it is obvious to see that little research had gone into this work of pure fiction.
Then again.. if they were a team of crack shot assault experts.. the mission would have gone off without a hitch and there would be little to watch onscreen.
As far as female capture by Muslims is concerned, it is in their religion that sex outside of marriage is considered a grave sin, let alone rape. They'd most probably treat her as they did any other soldier held captive and torture them or use them as punching bags.
This movie was awesome for one reason: Emmanulle Vaugier. The hottest canadian chick in history. That is why I gave this movie a 10 right off. I want her career to take off. She could become the best actress of ourtime if given the right movies to act in.

Let's hope for her career's sake, she can get some movies to challenge her and wow audiences. Apparently she's also in Need for Speed Carbon to some degree? I saw her on a magazine cover promoting it at work, so u might want to look into that if you are a fan of her work.

Umm, Victoria Pratt actually WAS a bodybuilder. And in this movie you could clearly tell she was more muscular than the average man.
