Emmanuelle delivers her best performance...

as a tough commando style female. I'm in shock right now. I didn't know women this beautiful and tough existed. She is the best female actress of our modern times. And this movie is an example of it. Aside from the movie being extremely amazing for a sci-fi original, Emmanuelle Vaugier was the sole reason I gave the film a 10. If only more women like her existed. Sigh.

I have to say, given her background as a former model, I was kind of cynical. When I watched the film, I was shocked by her acting ability (in a good way). She blew me away with her performance. She not only made the character tough but also have a kind of tenderness. I really liked the scene where she gave the monologue about her experiences in Africa. For me, that was one of the best parts.

You wacky kids! She's not good in this. Nobody is good in this. That said, it's still miles ahead of the original.

You can piss on people in R rated movies. You just have to make sure the ushers don't see you.

I'm not a kid. I'm 19. I don't agree with you about Emmanuelle, but then again a person is allowed to express his or her opinions.

Good job evolution. I think Emmanuelle made this movie what it is - a 10. She was so fun to watch. She kicked zombie butt all throughout the movie. Thanks to her, this movie is now one of my favs.

She was GREAT in any scene that had her holding or firing a gun. No hesitation, no bull$hit, no second chances: if you had to die (either for a first or a second time), and Emmanuelle Vaugier had a gun, you WOULD die, no questions asked.

reply

You said it gridoon. I don't think I've ever seen anyone else handle a gun like that, not even Steven Segal or Chuck Norris. Emmanuelle can handle both.

Emmanuelle rocks--any horror movie she's in is immediately added to my collection. She's an awesome modern day scream queen, and rocked on Two and a Half Men--wish they'd bring her back.
