Man the second one really knows how to ruin a good plot twist. Spoilers?
The first one had Matrix-style zombie dodging, and 360 degree camera rotation closeups of the protagonists blasting themselves and zombies in slow motion. It did this like what, fifteen + times at least?
But the second one, dang. Every five minutes, someone gets infected, and another person has to kill them. What would normally be a tragic depiction of sacrifice and coping with loss becomes meaningless time consumption.
And I swear, it does that more often than all the matrix scenes and video game footage splices of the first one, combined.
-_-
I'm surprised they didn't start diving into the topic of zombies infecting themselves and crap.
