worst zombie film ever! what were the writers on???

i've seen alot of zombie films. alot. and i read about them. in short im obsessed, so i know what im talking about here.

i've seen alot of bad films. who hasn't. but this and the original house of dead so far are the worst. they were both just so painful to watch. the worst part of this was was the logic. im mean seriously, could the characters get more stupid if they tried?

the writers must have been pretty wacked out. they try to rip off other great zombie influences whilst loosing all sense of logic at all. take the whole professor being obsessed with bringing the dead back to life. complete rip off of H.P. Lovecroft's Herbert West - Reanimator, which became the film Reanimator. caged up zombies come straight out of original dawn of the dead. catacombs out of day of the dead. bombs out of return of the living dead...my god....the idea of pretending to be a zombie comes from shun of the dead.

also the zombies are so inconsistant. one minutes a zombie can come out of nowhere and bite someone and blam, they're screwed aren't they. but when a giant swarm of zombies comes after you they all happen to have a severe neck problem that stops them from biting you. lik when nightingale and ellis fight their way out of the building the first time. there were at least twently times that a zombie would have taken a chunk out of them. and considering that they can now bite through kevlar, you'd think they'd be having a pinic on those steps. and even at the end when nightingale has a horde of zombies falling on top of her non of them bite her. and she survives and explosion!!!

the zombies are also one minutes slow the next minute fast. and all do some weird crap with their arms like some spasticated monkey dance. wtf? also apparently some zombies are likely animals and react to growls, whilst others dont seem to notice anything.

i spent the last hour of the film yelling at the tv. actually i spent almost the enire movie yelling at the tv. people in slasher and horror films are always dumb...but these people were just braindead. for one they thought that every lone person they found was a survivor, not even suspecting that they were a zombie.

gotta say mosquito spread zombie virus was new though. although why didn't the others get bitten? or freak out when they knew of this adn leave before they too were infected!

the effects weren't bad...that's about all i have to say for positive stuff though.

oh and real obvious one here...Nightingale looks just like Angelina Jolie in Tomb raider 2 once her armour is removed. gah...these writers....*shakes fist* if all this were doen in some over the top comical way that pointed out the inconsistancies of zombie films then it would have come out alot better. thought i guess that wasnt the point of the film. i wasnt expecting much at al from this...not after what the first film delivered...but at east the first one had a little bit more logic than this...
