Looks like you forgot to take your anti-retard pills again.
I guess they must be making money off this series. Otherwise, why make this crap?
shareDon't forget nudity...

I love zombies but I hate crappy scripts. Put some heart into it don't just make something to put on film. Horror movies are starting to turn into jokes, just look at the movies that have been airing on the Sci Fi channel, just old tired plot, just throw in teens, hot chick, lots of cleavage, and a monster :poof: you have a horror movie. Where are the American Dario Argneto's when you need them???
shareThey are fun to watch, even being as bad as they are. Everybody likes to watch Zombie movies even how bad they are. As long as you dont care about the HotD games.
The first bad Uwe Boll HotD was just like the games, exept the teenagers (But you need teenagers in horrorflicks) and the rave. I think thats why it was so bad. HotD is only fun because you get to shoot Zombies. The rest of the games are *beep*
The same with the first movie. The only fun in it was watching them shooting Zombies with different types of guns.
But HotD 2 i much bether. Its a good Zombie movie.
Anyaway they will start filming House of the Dead 3 this year and it should be finnished next year.
But it wont be a direct-to-DVD movie. And it will be a new start for the HotD movies and be more based on the story of the games. And it wont be called House of the Dead 3.

I know for a fact that the director wanted the 3rd installment to be about the last man and the last woman left on a planet full of zombies...then the man loses the woman...and can't find her...
Great idea, huh? I thought so too.

Reminds me of The Omega Man with Charlton heston.
Good. They're bad, but fairly enjoyable films. I look forward to HOTD3.

I'm not sure exactly what it says about Uwe Boll as a theatrical director when the "direct to Sci-Fi" sequel to house of the dead is better than the original...but then again maybe that's a good thing. To me the second felt more like a house of the dead movie and it felt like it made better use of its miniscule budget than the first as well. i for one somewhat look forward to a third installment, but not because they are good movies but because eventually they are going to get it right and make a really mediocre movie out of the storyline.

Sounds like a dumb idea to me...then basically you'd have a man running around for most of the film fighting zombies and no dialogue (who's he going to talk to? there's no other living person on the planet except the woman he's looking for), and probably another big portion of the film with the woman running around, and no dialogue.
Basically the whole movie would be like watching someone else playing through a Resident Evil game for 90 minutes...

FiringSquad: Mindfire recently released House of the Dead 2. Overall were you pleased with the reactions that the movie received and are there any plans for a House of the Dead 3?
Mark A. Altman: I'm pretty pleased overall. I think it's a fun film that feels like a 50s sci-fi action film updated to the 21st century. Sony is releasing the film theatrically overseas this year which is nice and I think the film's gotten a pretty good reaction and some nice reviews for the most part...
"good reaction", "nice reviews" lol OK know what to expect from number 3...
im personally stoked for the hotd3.
it has alot of potential, they just need good writers..
Heres an idea:
The movie begins with a women running through the woods being chased by something. She runs, trips blah blah blah then gets caught up and killed. Police arrive at the scene and 4 detectives investigate and realize she was staying at the "Something" hotel. They stay in the hotel in order to investigate and are awakened in the morning by a scream.
They realize the hotel is full of zombies and are as puzzled as some of the survivng hotel guests. As the guests flee from numerous monsters and numerous guests die because they scared and run on their own or go crazy blah blah blah and the survivors find an underground stairway where they discover the scary truth, a murderous mad man has taken some hotel guests as subjects for his crazed experiments.
Blah Blah Blah, survivors run around and try to find a way but along the way find number of clues (increases the mystery and storytelling of the movie) and at the end, finally meet the mad man. He unleashes his prized and subject, which kills the mad man because he could no longer control it and the survivors fight it off with guns and crowbars (The way it died is still undecided, i havent thought of a good hard way).
Ta DA!
Honestly, half of the ideas being thrown around here are worse than the actual movie itself. They sound so cliche. Although we are talking about movies in which the dead are re-animated, so I guess the word cliche doesn't really matter.
shareIt should be set throughout america, and should have a series of different characters from all areas of america, and bascially make it look like that the zombie invasion has not only begun but is winning, and the survivors somehow their stories colide, or while running to a safe post find stragelers, i guess kinda like 28 days later, that movie was excellent (interesting characters too) (not like the wooden gun-ho's in this movie...) no one wants to see typical gun ho soliders killing zombies and then maybe one or two (pref the man and woman!!) surviving at the end,... or i guess they could do another zombie comedy...(i love those ones)
shareWikipedia House of the Dead. There's a breif little line that Mike Hurst said that there was going to be a third.

The Commentary mentions a third installment.
I guess it leads from the end of HOTD2 where they are driving into an obviously overcome city were most people are probably already zombies. I'm guessing they would meet up with some survivors - most just trying to survive, some taking advantage of the situation, move through the city, some people die & get turned, & obviously there'd be a lot of zombie action!.
..when there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth..
I guess I'll drop writing the screenplay I'm writing based off the games. Seriously, I have some written. I guess I'll move on to another game...
(It's all for a screenwriting class)
