better than Training Day.
Training day was nice but Ethan Hawk doesn't touch Bale. Harsh Times has much more depth and character. Training day looks like another holywood action flick in comparison. Denzel washington as usual is all about his own performance, nice but i've never seen him have chemistry with other actors, while in Harsh Times, the chemistry between the main characters is great. You get the gist of their friendship, their past and present, and why they do what they do. One movie is about corrupt cops, the other is a statement about life, war, how the establishment uses people like dogs, and maybe most of all it's about the strength of male friendship.
