It's entertaining... TO A DEGREE
4/10 because of the plotholes and not well-thought out world.

Hahaha :)
shareAgreed. This movie was weird like that... cool concept and some very well-done scenes, like the dragging of the deprived and stuff. Just got dragged down because of the DUMBEST SCIENCE EVER and the plot becoming very predictable.
EDIT (spoilers): I was kind of hoping that the scene where the soldiers tore each other to bits would escalate beyond that, ending the movie with Edward and Audrey realizing that by trying to cure the vampires, they inadvertedly caused the annihilation of both species.
"You can't have everything. Where would you put it?"
I personally thought this film had a real timing problem. It didn't flow and there were a few choices they made with the script that just didn't gel. It's too bad because they had a great cast.
shareThe ending was hilarious
shareI gave it a 7 because it was not only entertaining but unique and I enjoyed it. Worth a watch in other words when you don't want to think much.
shareWhile it had weaknesses it was very entertaining and fun as long as you don't try and over think it. I though the dragging of the degenerated Vampires into the sun was actually very effective in my opinion.
To make a great film you need three things - the script, the script and the script -Alfred Hitchcock
Sure, it could have been better, but I think it actually works well enough, is interesting enough, and well executed enough that it pretty much overcomes its shortcomings.
I'll tell you... about the yellow king.
