Numb3rs' number is up - Rob Morrow signs up to an ABC pilot

From Aussielo's website:

Further proof that this Friday’s episode of Numb3rs will be a series finale: Rob Morrow has joined the cast of ABC’s Jerry Bruckheimer-produced legal drama The Whole Truth.

The project, which also stars Nip/Tuck’s Joely Richardson, chronicles the building of a case from the perspective of both the defense and prosecution. Morrow plays a defense attorney who regularly spars with Richardson’s prosecutor, with whom he shares a history.

For Morrow, Truth is technically in second position to Numb3rs, although there’s little chance the CBS procedural will return next fall.

Not to be outdone, Morrow’s Numb3rs bro, David Krumholtz, was recently tapped to headline Fox’s Untitled Ron Howard IRS pilot.

..........so now that Rob (Don) has confirmed his departure, how long before David (Charlie) does the same. Numb3rs couldn't possibly run without both Eppes brothers. :(

Thoughts?

Nina Tassler just needs to put out the announcement so we all know for certain that she show is dead.

With Numb3rsdead.
Lost wrapping up
CSI: Miami bring back a character I was glad to see go (he makes the show boring for me)

I'm going to be down to 1 show per week. Think I'll add in NCIS: Los
Angeles
on a full-time basis and might give Trauma a try.

It is a given that the show is over. With Charlie and his soon to be wife going to Cambridge in England that is a clear sign.It has been running out of steam and started to blur. I am just sorry to see it go.

I wouldn't say that it's a 'given' just yet, amazon. Charlie and Amita are only spending one term in Cambridge, not moving there permanently, which does leave it open for them to return for a season 7 if CBS actually end up listening to the chorus of protest currently doing the rounds, the letters people are sending in and the nearly 4,000 names (so far) added to the petition. A lot of us think that season 6 has seen a return to the 'old' Numb3rs (apart from Dreamland! GAH! Horrible episode! Just my opinion there, before you all start jumping on me...) and that there's plenty of life in the old dog yet. Admittedly, it isn't looking promising at the moment, but the final decision isn't until May, so until CBS make an official announcement, everything else is pure speculation. It is inevitable that people are going to make assumptions based on reports coming from the media, but take it from an old journo hack - believe half of what you see in the press and NONE of what you hear. Nobody in a position to comment has done so yet, so we cannot assume to know what's going on behind closed doors.

In the meantime, if you really don't want to see Numb3rs replaced by yet another medical drama/reality show/general piece of crappy telly that doesn't credit its viewers with an ounce of intelligence (delete as applicable), then make sure you let CBS know. It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings, and I haven't heard any large ladies warbling lately...
