Series finale - Who killed the drunk driver ?

Yes , Numbers is likely gone and that's sad , but a question about this episode . Maybe I just missed something. It's easy to get distracted with little kids and all . Who shot Evelyn Ryerson ,the drunk driver? WhenDon got the gun back they linked it from the Community watch guy to the battered woman to the kid going after the neighbor . Was the drunk driver's killingnot related ? I know its small but its bugging me and her death was made a pretty big part of the chain of events for "Cause and Effect" .

My memory isn't perfect I was watching this when I was sick, but I don't think they actually said. They were following the gun on via board postings which led them somewhere else and I think the local cops were investigating. So it was related to the rest of the killings, but not really focused on from there.

If the end of the series is only a rumor, can you at least TRY not to make it sound like it's confirmed?

Your world must have very dry literature.

I don't know how reliable this is, but apparently Numb3rs was cancelled, along with 6 other shows:

I've noticed that CBS tends to arbitrarily cancel shows without warning. I don't notice it on other networks, but that could just be because I don't watch them as often.

NBC arbitrarily canceled the original Law & Order, one season before it would have broken Gunsmoke's 21-year record. I'm a mite peeved at that decision.

we did in a way have a warning that this was the last season of Numb3rs tho, with only 16 episodes instead of 23-24 like normal seasons... which in a way made me glad since the writers then could write a good end of the show

but i will miss Numb3rs alot tho

reply

TBH I won't be in any way surprised if Numb3rs is, indeed, cancelled. IMHO the show jumped the shark several seasons ago. We enjoyed the first season very much, but it seemed to change in bad ways over the years.

i still liked the show but i got really tired of Don thinking he's getting old that they brought up in several seasons, one season was plenty but 3 was over doing it

I still like the show as well but I find the last couple of years the episodes have been really dark. Lightwise, not storyline. A lot of the scenes in the FBI offices and the house, you could hardly see anything.

Also, they were showing less and less scenes with Don and his family. Anytime they needed anything from Charlie it was Colby and/or David that went to talk to him. Alan, Don and Charlie's relationship was on of the reasons I liked the show so much.
