Comments from a new fan halfway through Season 4

I've been watching this show on Netflix, chewing my way through the entire episode list starting from the first episode. I'm now about halfway through Season 4. I am a police shooting instructor and sometime math tutor with a solid grounding in statistics and probability. Here are some random comments, in no particular order:

1. Some of the episodes exhibit good math, some are stretching it, and some are just nonsense when it comes to Charlie's math stuff.

2. Don's small fictional FBI team gets into more gunfights on this show than the entire real 5000 agent FBI.

3. Don and his team regularly use pistols against criminals armed with rifles. Statistically, all of Don's team should have been killed off in the first few episodes.

4. Don's team often investigates crimes that have NO federal issues and would NEVER involve the real FBI.

But I know, it's TV, and I can ignore these things and just enjoy the show...

5. I like that the characters grow and change as the series continues.

6. Charlie had a decent hairstyle for a while, I think in Season 3, but now he's back to looking like he's been homeless for 6 months.

7. At the moment Larry is monumentally annoying and the whole tiresome monastery thing makes me want Charlie to slap him. And a beard does NOT look good on Larry.

8. One of my favorite episodes was the one where Don turns off his phone when he's with the black shrink, and broods that his team might be lost without him. Meanwhile, the whole team is kicking ass and taking names while he's in therapy, and the shrink makes Don see that that means he's a great success.

9. Liz Warner is insanely hot.
