RIP. He directed some of my favorites. For those unfamiliar he did Top Gun and Crimson Tide, among others. Not only did he co-produce this show he directed an episode.

A tragic and terrible loss. He was one of the finest, most innovative producer/directors in the business, and was integral in giving N3 its distinctive feel that raised the show above the everyday procedural format. RIP Tony.
