shareGiven the fact that the episode run was cut to just 16 half way through the season, the writers actually managed to wrap things up reasonably well. Charlie and Amita got married and went to England for six months as visiting professors at Oxford University, David went off to lead his own team in Washington, Larry signed up to help the Violent Crimes Unit, Colby, Nikki and Liz stayed on in LA and Don and Robin got engaged.
There was some bitterness amongst many of the fans because of the way the cancellation was handled, but all in all, it was the best we could hope for under the circumstances.
A 'High Five' is not something that should be attempted by the middle classes...
Thanks buddy, I may give it a try now.
I am still reluctant to do so, as I once read that the main character is the "super hero, the perfect, the best man ever, the most clever and intelligent man that has ever lived", same as jack bauer - 24, jack sheppard - garbage lost, michael gaysfield - prison gay break, etc
I am not a moron, so I don t need a hero to inspire my life.
Thus, I prefer characters such as Vic - The Shield, Dexter - Dexter, Pat - Damages, etc
Thank you again, but note that there was no reason whatsoever for you to include major spoilers in your reply, even covered by the tag.
I covered the info with a spoiler tag because some countries haven't shown season six yet, so out of respect to fans who may still be watching I didn't want to spoil things for 'em!
The reports of Charlie's 'superhero' capabilities have been somewhat exaggerated. He's a genius, yes, but a flawed one. He makes mistakes, and it's not just a case of every case is solved with Charlie's math equations. He comes up with the theories, but it's the team that puts them into practice. It is challenging and entertaining viewing and it does make you start to look at the relationship mathematics has to everyday life, including solving crime. Yes, sometimes the math is wrong, but the concepts such as Game Theory, social network dynamics and other theories are shown to work in a 'real life' situation. It's the application of the theories that makes the show work, and there's plenty of running, jumping and kicking in doors as well as gun fights, car chases and some nice comedy moments as well, so it's not all algebra!
Give it a try mate. I hope you enjoy it.

truth hurts!
even more on morons like you.
The episode order was cut after Season 6 had started filming, with just enough time to write a season-ender that would also suit as a series-ender (it wasn't officially cancelled until the final episode had been shot).
I thought the show ended as well as could be expected given the uncertain circumstances. Complete closure was impossible, but the characters did close one chapter and begin a new one in their lives.
It ended up nicely. As I watched all at once on Netflix later I felt really hard 'cos I got addicted.
