I know it is likely wishful thinking but with David Krumhilz pilot never working out and the whole truth with Rob Morrow doing badly I wish they would think about doing another season of Numbers. At least if the whole truth is canceled. I like the Whole Truth but I woyukld really prefer seeing Numbers coming back especially if Whole Truth is cancelled.
shareI just started watching Numbers and it is a very good intellectually stimulating show. I am very disappointed to see that it has been canceled. Maybe it was too intellectual for the average viewer.
shareI think it started going downhill when their budget got bigger and they added more action and effects. Maybe reaching out the the average viewer was the downfall.

CBS had high hopes for Miami Medical, with Jerry Bruckheimer's backing, but it flopped big time, dead after just 13 episodes.
Though rare, shows have been brought back, so it's not impossible to imagine Numb3rs could be revived. But it would have to return more to the mid-season type mystery related cases, and on a smaller budget. When it got to season 5 and 6 and we saw everything from big explosions to members of the LA Lakers showing up on the show...

I stopped watching CBS friday night lineup, just isnt the same without Numbers being there.
shareI like Blue Bloods, but I think a Blue Bloods/Numb3rs line-up would work so much better than CSI: NY/Blue Bloods. Both Bloods and Numb3rs are shows that have a heavy emphasis on family ties and family members working together, their personal lives intertwining with crime solving. I think it would be a perfect match.

shareI would agree with numbers and blue bloods being great shows but don't forget criminal minds. It can be gory but they are a family themselves and they include their families in quite a few episodes.
shareI think season 6 was definitely the worst one; I found that I started to tune out on the episodes and the stories just weren't as involving.
shareI didn't realize it was over till I finished it on Netflix and went to see if I could find the next season online. I'm quite bummed. Even if it did get a bit slow towards the end. At least they did get everything "wrapped up" before ending it. I hate when plot lines are left hanging when a series ends.
They also left it at a place that would make it really easy to pick up down the line because the story would have to take a break due to where they left it. A couple years later, Charlie comes back...

I didn't discover the show till it was cancelled and you can add my name to the list that would LOVE to see it come back. Although there are more connections to "Blue Bloods" the film using the same house.
