Don's personality

Don doesn't have a whole lot of personality, but why is it the writers seem to put him in bed with every single remotely attractive woman? I'm in season four, and so far I think the only recurring characters he hasn't gotten into bed are Megan and Amita, but they are spoken for. I know he has trouble committing to a relationship, but dang the man beds practically any woman with a pulse. It's basically one of the only facets of his personality, which is sad. It seems like the writers could have tried a little harder to expand him as a character instead of just putting him in practically constant hookup drama.

I have no enemies, but am intensely disliked by my friends.

I disagree. He had relationships with mainly two women: Robin and Liz. There were maybe one or two others (some old relationships were mentioned), but he definitely did not hook up with every woman "who has a pulse." In addition to the two you mention, he never tries to bed Terry or Nikki, for example.
