Nowhere near as good as the first film
What I didn't like about this sequel, was that it contained way too many twists and turns. The idea of Amanda carrying on Jigsaw's legacy was just laughable and over the top. Even though Jigsaw got a fair amount of screen time, his character didn't really amount to anything spectacular. In fact, he just became annoying. I liked how in the first film, we don't see much of him, except for at the end; which added more mystery to his character. The 'I wanna play a game' phrase got easily played out. The torture methods weren't on par with the first film. And the cast wasn't exactly great. And after a while, the plot became so predictable. That, combined with a bunch of ridiculous plot twists. Though, I thought Wahlberg did a good job in this movie. His character was the only believable one. But I didn't care for any of the other characters. The first film was good enough. This sequel was just unnecessary. But hey, the franchise was running strong and money talks.
But I liked how Mudvayne's song Forget to Remember was used in the rolling credits. I love that song. Lol
