I don't understand how this went wrong.It had so much going for it.Underrated 80's gem to draw from,creepy setting(the fog),100 year old Zombies,decent budget and a fairly good cast.With these ingredients even an amateur director should have been able to produce something half way decent.Instead what we got was a bad CGI filled steaming pile of crap.

One of the problems was casting. Selma Blair and Tom Welling were pretty dire. Maggie Grace felt miscast. Plus the whole spoonfed Elizabeth/Ghosts from the past backstory wasnt needed. There isnt really many thrills or chills. Just my 2 cents. With a better cast and direction it could've been decent.
