Brilliant Comedy

The only reason i watch Seagal films is because they are hilarious and cheesy. This one is no exception.

I love it how pretty much everyone of the bad guys got shot in the shoulder, sometimes more than once.

Near the beginning, when Seagal is robbing the safe and those guys come up behind him and say, "We couldn't have bypassed the alarm if it wasn't for you, thanks for doing all the heavy lifting".

Bad guys seem to jump out of little hiding places, such as from behind statues, or sometimes they just appear out of nowhere!

That corrupt cop was a hoot too, "You want to dance with the Devil, lets dance!" hahahahahaha, brilliant.

But at the end, you forget about all the senseless killing, when you see that he did it all to save a childrens hospital........good going Steven.

Anyone have anymore Steven films i should watch for the comedy, best comedies in the world...

All the ones that are written and directed by him are laughable

Watch Exit Wounds (the one with DMX in it)

Steven is a rare talent, or his talent is rare. The more though you put into watching the movie the more laughable it is.Plot, story, cinematography, stereotypes etc. and every gangster cliche you could thing of. One thing that jumped out at me as funny though, and got funnier and funnier as it went along is his speaking voice. That soft whisper of a voice he uses that he no doubt believes is silky smooth, tough and sexy for the chicks too is a cross of Brando's godfather and a breathy marilyn monroe when she sang happy birthday to jfk. Got so by the end of the show he couldn't open his mouth without me laughing out loud.
This show has it all and is so damned bad, but in such a cornball way that it actually becomes worthy of a watch because of it. So on a scale of 1-10 this stinker rubber-ball bounces back out of the basement and reaches back up to a 4 - 4.5 because of it's unexpected humour value. This show should be manditory viewing in film schools as a study in "what not to do."
