Smoking Pot
How do you people feel about smoking pot? Is this acceptable for an adult to make their own personal decision to smoke pot? I can't wait to hear the hipocrisy from cigarette smokers and the lunacy of the anti-smoking radicals.

sharePot is Okay. It is waaaaaay way LESS addictive than tobacco.
I used to smoke both pot and cigarettes on daily basis. I got really tired of pot and stopped. I tried to quit cigarettes several times and I couldn't. Right now I don't smoke pot and honestly I don't feel any need to. With tobacco it's a whole different story, when I drink a few beers I inevitably smoke at least half a pack. I just can't help it.
So in my personal experience pot isn't addictive and cigarettes are very addictive. I guess pot wins.

I used to smoke pot every single day. For like 3-4 years or something. hen I decided to stop because let's face it it gets really exhausting. The first few days after I quit, I really really wanted to smoke and envied my friends, watching them and everything but that lasted for about a week and that's all, that's all the "withdrawal" symptoms I had... I haven't smoked pot since then, and that was years ago. I wouldn't really call pot addictive.
Now cigarettes on the other hand... HIGHLY addictive! I couldn't quit cigarettes no matter how hard I tried.
So there.
You know, in my experience neither are all that addictive. (For the record I'm not arguing that they aren't, just my experience.) I can't recall any withdrawal symptoms from quitting either. It was easier for me to quit smoking weed because benefits came from that, mainly 1) being able to pass a drug test and 2) not being paranoid whole driving around high or w/weed. But cigs are so much worse for you, they just happen to be legal. I can smoke a cig and pass a drug test, I can light a cigarette while I'm driving down the freeway, while I'm waiting in front of my classroom.
If they ever legalize weed in California *fingers crossed 2012* then I will never touch a cigarette again. I'm addicted to the feeling of the smoke going into your lungs, there is something therapeutic about it. But until then, I'm going to kill myself to be a good citizen, just doesn't seem right.
Kinda wish Dark Knight Rises was coming out tomorrow.
