Smokers SHOULD pay higher premiums for health insurance. Smokers have made a CHOICE to engage in an activity that is clearly detrimental to their health. They CANNOT expect anybody else to subsudize that choice. Smoking is filthy, disgusting, and 100% NON-ESSENTIAL in life. Smokers should either pay higher premiums, or be made to pay for their own health care. I should not have to pay for YOUR chemotherapy because you chose to be a smoker.

Obamacare sucks, but this is the one part I like. Under pressure they will probably change it to placate smokers and take more money from people that have been earning it all their life, and then Obamacare will suck 100%.

But... my addiction to smoking is a pre-existing condition!

I certainly agree that smokers should pay higher premiums for health insurance, for all the reasons you mention. And so should drinkers, heavy eaters, unhealthy eaters, skydivers, scuba divers, Bungee jumpers, restaurant cooks, rock climbers, horse riders, skiers, waterskiers, bicyclists and any people who engage in sex.

Even though the non-smokers cost the health care system more in the long term since they live longer and keep needing medical assistance for problems consistent with living such long life spans. So...how about all the non-smokers pay more? I mean, if we want to go with real statistics here..

Once you figure out what a joke everything is, being the Comedian's the only thing makes sense

Do you have anything of substance to back that up, or are you just grasping at straws? If you point to an article posted on Philip-Morris.com I will laugh at you. So don't do it.

Plenty of heavy smokers live long lives, and require more health care dollars because of their habit.

Agreed, you are a dumbass. What's wrong with Obamacare? Do you not like children with health insurance? Do you not like that pre-existing conditions can no longer disqualify you?

Do you just swallow the garbage spouted on Fox News? Ever wonder why it's only on Fox News and no legitimate news channel?
