The apple pie with cheese?

I was just wondering if eating apple pie with melted cheese is a common thing, since I know that it tastes great with ice cream.

I've never had it on pie but I do put jelly on my grilled cheese, so I would say it can taste good.

Apple pie with a slice of AMERICAN cheese on top would taste horrible, that's why Nick was so surprised that he was doing it.
