Yes, sometimes my lyrics are sexist but you lovely bitches and hoes should know Im tryin to correct this.
I suppose die-hards of the original and the broadway dislike it because it's not exact. which to me, is unfair. and then some people just don't like musicals. which is downright silly :D

i have a friend who is HUGE in2 lord of the rings, harry potter, and battle star galactica. he is a true geek he only likes action movies. i made him sit down and watch this movie... and he loved it.

I do'n't dislike musicals, but in this particular movie the main thing I didn't like was the absence of the sound of the 60s, like swinging rock and roll music from those years; everything was replaced by the usual format of Hollywood musical songs.
At least they could have given the musical songs, a rock & roll sixties sound, instead of the same musical sound in every single musical ever produced.
But I would have liked it more if you could hear Chubby Checker with the Twist, or other hits from the sixties, that really gave you that sixties feeling like in the original.

In other words, you would have prefered a jukebox musical. You're entitled to your opinion, but on a personal level, I'm glad you didn't handle the music for the play or this movie.

My little girl loves this film but I'm getting a just a little tired of it as she'll watch it over and over if she can! Any film with Zac Efron is simply called Troy to her, so when she wants to see Hairspray she just says "peez (please) Troy?" (she's 3). Then she'll dance her way through the whole film!
