Dick Clark and his passing
Dick Clark, the model for Corny Collins, has recently died at the age of 82. I read that the industry is planning a tribute to him. I hope that James Marsden will be asked to participate in this event. He, and the Corny Collins from the original film version of Hairspray, and the people who played Collins on Broadway. And John Waters, too, of course. I hope to be able to see it.
