Masterpiece
All You have to do is see it.
A beautiful love story. Silence like a scream.
I really want to see this movie! Everytime I see the trailer for this movie it casts a spell on me. Too bad I won't be able to watch this in the movie theatre.
shareJust had the chance to see this one in a movie theatre. What a gem ! Great film that deserves every attention it can get. A true masterpiece.
shareKi-Duk Kim's finest moment so far and that is saying something, I only discovered his films last year and was completely bowled over by them.
Cheers Trev.

I went to see this movie because Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring was one of the greatest cinematic experiences I've ever had. There are really no words how great this man's films are. I totally love the ending of this film where he asks us if reality is just a dream.
shareI saw and I must say I couldn't agree more. The last several years have been a terrific time for Korean cinema. This is a beautiful gem.
shareI wouldn't call it a masterpiece unlike Spring Summer..
The first 2/3rds of the film had me wondering where it would lead, but the last 3rd is just fantastic.
great stuff 8 out of 10
Yeah, amazing movie, although as much as I liked it I think spring summer winter fall and spring was still the superior film.
shareYeah, amazing movie, although as much as I liked it I think spring summer winter fall and spring was still the superior film.I agree there but "Bin-jip" is still 9/10
3-iron was great, a definite 10/10. Samaria is a close follow-up, 9/10. The Isle was also good, 8/10. Haven't seen spring summer... yet, and am also looking forward to Adress unknown and his other repertoire. Agreed, he's one of the best directors alive. IMO he's on par with Kitano, but Kitano is very different of style, so they are really not comparable plus I love everything Kitano does.

I didn't like Samaritan Girl, Bad Guy is better (IMHO).... and Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter..and Spring and 3 Iron are much better!
I also like Zhang Yimou (Raise the Red Lantern, To Live, Happy Times, House of the Flying Daggers, Hero), Chen Kaige (Farewell My Concubine, Together, The Emperor and the Assassin), Wong Kar Wai (In the Mood for Love, 2046, Chungking Express, Days of Being Wild), and Akira Kurosawa of course!
