question for the people who saw this movie
i'd like to see this movie with my family, but i was wondering if there's an act of suicide in it (sensitive subject in my family at the moment..)

No there is not. But I warn you this is high art movie and can be found as boring for unexperienced person.

shareI found it too openly metaphorical.
I'm not saying it's bad, it just tries too hard to make a point and ultimately fails to be coherent, unlike David Lynch's films or Kitano's "Dolls". "Dolls" is much better at being metaphorical, it works because it's not over-the-top metaphorical and the metaphors go along with the main story.
Still, 3 Iron can be an enjoyable movie for some, but it didn't work very well for me. I gave it a 6/10 because, despite the overall feeling if incoherence, it does have some good ideas and a decent cinematography.

yeah, cos i was wondering is the sexual content a bit too much? since i'm not really old enough (16) and i really dun wanna see all that anyway.

I thought this was original and fascinating. I was a little surprised at the casting but it worked well. Let's hope Hollywood stays WELL AWAY before yet another outstanding idea gets over-cooked.
