Cover Image and Sculpture

Hi,

Havent seen this movie yet, but the cover caught my eye. The photo on the cover is a reference to a sculpture at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. I have a photo of the sculpture (not online, unfortunately) and the similarity is far too strong to be mere coincidence. If i remember correctly, the sculpture is by a Korean artist, as well. I didnt take down the name of the sculptor or sculpture, though. Does anyone know anything about it? Or how it connects to the film?

Thanks!

Yes! That was my reaction exactly! I remember seeing this sculpture in the Pompidoua couple of years ago.

I can't find any info on this either, but the artist's name is Wang Du, and he is Chinese, not Korean.

Here's his wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wang_Du

Wang Du's The Kiss was made in 2005, a year after this movie was released. So if anything the movie is the inspiration behind the sculpture - not the other way.
