3-Iron

What does the title mean? 3-Iron - it's rather confusing to me.

Thanks a lot! Don't know why but I didn't come up with the idea to think in this direction :))

His reason behind the 3-iron usage, as opposed to a different club, is that it is the least appreciated and most overlooked club, much like his characters.

Always remember you are unique. Just like everyone else.

In my country the title was translated as "All alone together" which also sounds great.

The Korean title literally means "Empty House", which makes a lot more sense than 3-Iron, frankly. Not sure why the divergence in foreign translation. Seems to me that nothing would be lost.

True, especially when not all of us know golf. ;)

Second post which apparently had the answer seems to have got deleted. So what was the significance of the title?

reply

Well I just assumed it was to do with the fact that the 3 iron golf club was used throughout the film. Both as a weapon and a hobby for the main character.
The second reply to this thread is a bit more specific though.
