I dunno if it can be that much of a spoiler since its been 10 years, but I have a question; & within that question is a SPOILER so beware!

So she hooks up with the guy from Sweden & then starts popping out babies, do you think one of the babies was his??

I've always questioned this. And I'm not much of a history buff who reads the extremely lengthy words about her to full understand. I mean, I guess we'd never know cause she probably wouldn't have known since they didn't have DNA testing way back then, but I always wondered...

Letthemeatcake is right. Marie and Fersen were never intimate.

The babies were definetely Louis. There was never evidence Antoinette and Fersen were ever intimate. He was a close friend of both Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI and she was a very Catholic and devout woman. Historians speculates about what was the problem between Antoinette and Louis and many think it was due to some sort of gynecological issue Marie Antoinette had that made intercourse very painful for her.
