Why was Myrtle in a home?

I get that in the beginning, Charles put Myrtle in a home because he didn't want to ever see her or put up with anything from Helen's life, but after he threw Helen out, and he quit paying for her bills at the home, why did she stay? Madea has 5 bedrooms in her house, if she could find room for Helen, she could for Myrtle too, because as far as we know there was nothing wrong with Myrtle.

hmm..maybe Madea didn't want Myrtle in her house...lol [even though she probably would have let her stay anyway]
but MAYBE Myrtle got so used to the home, that she didn't to stay
Or maybe she didn't want to live with Madea and Joe [cause he was feigning for her.lmao]

during the divorce trial, helen told the judge that charles could have everything, so long as he pays for her lawyer's fees, and her mother's stay in the nursing home.

even though helen was living with madea, that wasn't HER home, so she just couldn't say, "hey, my husband kicked me to the curb and i need to stay here for a minute, and ummm...so does my mom.

it's not like they had to pay everyday or every week. it was probably a monthly thing like rent or some kind of payment plan, so myrtle was good to stay there.

To add ~

When they show Helen going to Church with her mom she is carried back to the home in a van so can be assumed the mother has some problems (i.e. bad bones/other). I have/had family put into nursing homes and mainly was due to them not being able to care for themselves on their owns. Sure Helen felt that she could have if Charles would have allowed the mom in their home but far as Madea (she had enough on her plate with her brother Joe). Another person to care for could have been way too much.
