When they showed the outside of his house towards the beginning, I wondered to myself, why would a couple need a house that big? Then, I saw in the trivia that it is Perry's house. Was that for the interior, exterior, or both types of shots?

If it was for the exterior too.... DANG! That is one big-a$$ house! It looks like an old British estate.

I don't know about the interior, but I believe the exterior is Tyler Perry's house, which is located in the Buckhead section of Atlanta (I live in Buckhead, too, but not in a house like that!).

the house is NOT in Buckhead, but in Fairburn. which is out where they hold the Renaissance Festival every year.
