With regards to the movie; he spent 18 years with a woman who supported him and his career and gave nothing to her own. (Her mistake) Then he just threw her out in the street with no explanation and treated her awful! He decided he wanted someone better (so he thought) and ended up with being screwed over. The beautiful light skinned woman was a gold digger who cleaned out his bank account and left him penniless because he got shot. So you are saying you would rather a hot woman who only wants your money as opposed to a woman who supports you 100%??
