Torturing the handicapped is awesome!

Was I the only one who laughed hysterically when the completely helpless and paralyzed Charles was beaten, starved, and almost drowned by his ex-wife? The part where she wanted him to stop breathing underwater had me in stitches! Sadism is HILARIOUS! Especially when the completely helpless handicapped person "deserves" it!

Don't you guys agree? Helen should compare notes with Dennis "BTK Killer" Rader. I think they'd have a lot in common.

it's even funnier when people make a big deal about MOVIES, forgetting the fact that its NOT REAL.

This stuff happens in real life everyday, where people go after their ex's and try to harm them because they think they 'deserve' it. That scene wasn't intended to be comical. Anyone could have figured that out.

This was a very dark comedy. Her husband was a prick, sure, but I don't think he deserved the torture she put him through. Almost drowning him after letting him sit in his own filth for days? Letting him go hungry? That's just wrong.

For God's sake! That was a pot brownie! You're stoned off your ass!!

reply

Exactly, Megame.

Troll.

I always burst out laffing on that lol!!!

Old enough to know better, young enough to do it anyway. ;P

Yeah this movie didn't have anything remotely close to funny in it. "The Clockwork Orange" was less demented than this movie. First this dude try's to do the old lady suit thing and, Really? yeah he sucks at it. Rip off of what has already been done better by other actors and this movie is listed as a comedy? Now that is funny, but really sad since it's not. Now maybe the rest of his movies rock the house but I'll never know cause this one sucked big time. This dude must have money or Oprah owe's him a favor like Doctor Phil cause they just keep letting him make movies. But his main character, funny? Hmmm there better real black women actresses in hollywood that could pull off his role much better. That dude needs to get off the camera and let somebody else do the role.

To be totally honest, it was hard to watch that scene, which is weird because i've always had a thing for dark humor or sick stuff (faces of death) and have always laughed at the gruesome kills in movies, but for some reason, this one almost made me want to stop watching for a bit. Im glad you found it to be humorous, but i cannot join you there...

reply

That's because she went insane, dude; what she did was not funny, she almost killed him.

reply

ya she should have tortured him more.. make him beg for mercy.. make him cry.. make him really sorry for all the bad things he has done to her..

dragging your own wife out of the house is unspeakable evil. treating her like *beep* is unbelievably evil. feels very painful indeed to be that wife when all you did was do good to your husband.

i wish the men who are like that will go to hell

reply

You fail at logic.

Hmm, I think people that believe his wrongful actions justify her torturing him are deranged. Sorry, but torturing handicapped people is wrong and not especially funny. Seeing as most Tyler Perry fans are hardline Christians (for some reason. Isn't Perry himself just a Christian and not a fundamentalist?), I am not surprised that they find torture to be justified.

If you are sick of the ''I love Jesus 100% signature'', copy and paste this into your profile!

reply

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense, Continental. My mom and I just saw this scene and were sickened by it, and we are both Christians. Don't say stupid things.

reply

Oh please. She could fight everything he did, but he couldn't even raise a hand to defend himself later on.

reply

No I lmao. Being someone that has been abused my whole life, I know it's wrong to want payback but it's a normal human emotion to feel the need to get revenge. This man used her, abused her, and threw her out like she was nothing. I think what she did to him was nothing when compared to what most people would want to do. Unless you have been abused you have no idea the pain and frustration it can cause.

reply

It's not like it was condoned in the film.

I'd catch a grenade for ya, throw my hand on a blade for ya

reply

Oh, it wasn't condoned? Better not be; someone needs to straighten her out, beyond the pitiful little "I'm sorry" she gives him at the end.

reply

If you are being abused (and I have no reason to doubt you), then I suggest you get the hell away from your abuser and start a new life for yourself. It's not that simple, you say? OH, YES, IT IS.

reply

And unless you've been abused when you can't even raise your hand, then watch someone enjoy your misery instead of just telling you to get out, you won't know what it's like, jerk.
