Tedious
What a bore... Tedious movie, full of monotone voice-over explaining obvious things that we see on screen and what characters are saying, Brad Pitt smiling stupidly through all the make up and CGI, etc...
Serious question... Was his character meant to be mentally challenged as well as aging in reverse? Forrest Gump style?
It's a surprisingly uncinematic movie... Just incident after incident, with no rhyme or reason... Like a wide screen multi-episode TV drama...
The movie even manages to make a battle between a boat and a submarine seem banal...
So... was this just a showcase for CGI?
