In Benjamin Button, Fitzgerald was inspired by Giulio Gianelli?

Many believe that Francis Scott Fitzgerald, in writing the novel "Benjamin Button", was inspired by a story by Italian writer Giulio Gianelli: "Pippin was born old and dead child."

I want to report about the following video presentation of an essay by the writer Patrizia Deabate.

And there are many who believe Fitzgerald was inspired by a 1911 novel called "The Elixir of Hate", written by an American writer (born in Nebraska)named George Allan England (1877-1937). The novel was about a man growing younger and turning into a child.

There are articles, essays, books, about the comparison between the story of England and that of Fitzgerald? I'm very interested in the subject.
