'I've been with older men before'...wtf?

Daisy says this to Benjamin when she is about 20 and he's about 60-70 (in appearance) and she's trying to sleep with him. Is she implying that she's been with other geriatric men? Seriously? And is this a common thing for women to do? I'm glad Benjamin refused because that's disgusting. Maybe that's what turned him off. Although I would've made an exception for them because Benjamin is a special case. Mentally, he was in his 20's too.

reply

Benjamin was approximately 50 at that point. Additionally, welcome to the real world. People do things you may not agree with; get over it, and go outside where women are not dolls conforming to society.

reply

Exactly!! I love it when ppl think they have the right to dictate who can and cannot be with whom.

Create a society in which you would like to live, not knowing what you're going to come into it as.

She slept with a lot of men in the dancing business, she even says about sex that they're al friends there and do it all the time. Something along those lines.

reply

He was not 50 at that point he was 32, he was 49 when he got her pregnant

reply

Well if I remember correctly he was only 6 years older than her so if she was 20 that would make him 26 in age. I think when she said "I've been with older men" she was referring to his age and not his appearance. She knew he was special and maybe that's what drew her to him despite his appearance. It never did seem to phase her much. She did say later in the film that she was so glad they didn't get together around then because she was just too young.

reply

80-26=54. so he was 54. you should count his age reverse.

reply

She was a slut and didn't hide it. Sad, really.

I own you.

reply

Really? I'm surprised people still have the slut-shaming mentality in 2014. Y'all need to grow up.

"As opposed to the slut-celebrating mentality? Women can sleep with almost anyone at any given moment,if they want to exploit, embrace and live that fact to the fullest,it is completely up to them. But they are not going to get respected and adored for it. "

But men should be respect for having sex with tons of different women, am i right? Really sad to see this kind of mentality in 2015.

reply

It's an achievement for a man to have sex, a woman can just allow it. How is this not understood by all women? You understand, of course, just don't want to admit it.

Lmao yes what a challenge sex is for men. We should start giving out trophies.

reply

Good girl....exactly! YOU ladies decide to 107% if sex is going to happen, not us. You choose us nine times outta ten. Love it when you play nonchalant or dumb. YES,in todays age,the dudes are really struggling to get laid. Sure, alot of drinks, gifts and over-the-top asskissing helps alot for them but that borders a bit on prostitution, the oldest profession in the world, don´t ya think? Poor guys breaking their backs for attention...which women "hate"sooo much.

Trophies...hmmm. Yeah,I agree. You should start getting my genderassociates trophies or diplomas atleast if they get a woman in bed without spending a dime. THAT would be a true achievement. Thank God for looking decent and being a minor celebrity or else I would probably also shame myself by playing completely by your rules and spending hardearned money just on being given the fuc-in´privelige to talk to a hot chick in a nightclub.
Oh no,now I got the dread....

reply

I think you nailed it. All this gift giving, fancy dinners, theatre tickets just for their company is prostitution. I like being older now and immune to young tail. Just wish I could get back the money I wasted.

Yes,manwhoring is not attractive either. The key difference is...a guy actually REALLY has to make an effort to get women into bed if they´re not celebrities...we´re still animals, women select us,it is not the other way around! You know this.

All a woman has to do is spread her legs,it´s very simple. Of course when you choose too many mates, too often and often playing on gender stereotypes like getting free entrance, free drinks etc,OF COURSE you´re not gonna get any respect or a good reputation. Makes sense. We can never have complete equality, since women always will dominate the sexual part of life and men the rest...haha,but the guys don´t give a *beep* "about the rest",they just get bitter and dominate the areas of life they can. Truth hurts.

I can think of one truth that gives me some satisfaction. When women get old they get ugly.

Wow, do you even have a mother and if you believe women get ugly, what do you think happens to men?

The only people who respect men for having sex with loads of women are a certain percentage of other men. Women claim to be smarter and more mature than men well imo women should know better than to sleep around. Sick of women bigging themselves up when it suits and then playing victim when it doesn't. If i call a girl a slut who sleeps around why do you instantly assume i think it's cool if it was a guy? As a man would never congratulate another guy for sleeping with loads of girls. I have had 2 great loves in my life and that is more than i could ever want or need.

"Slut shamming"? Be for real. That is one of the stupidest phrases that I've ever heard. Listen...if you are a slut then you should be shamed. There's no honor in that. It just makes you a common whore. Even though it's your body and you can do with it however you please and lay down to let men freely enter into you and dump their waste, you still have to realize that there are consequences to your actions and you will be judge and criticized. Just like you have the right to do what you please when it comes to your body, people have the right to think what they please when it comes to their mind and say what they please when it comes to their mouth so don't be surprised or cry "slut shaming" when your reputation is ruined behind it because naturally, people are going to talk. If you're going to be so loose about your body, it's best to not care about what people say or think.

She wasn't a slut. She only enjoyed sex, like every normal human being. Sadly, women who like sex are called sluts by ignorant people like you.

I think he just looks older but it seems that his body's functionality stayed the same.

They both slept around a lot but they always loved each other.
