The Head-Butt

It was a decent jump-scare, but those seats were low enough that there's no way the people behind them wouldn't have caught that sudden, violent movement. And the way passengers are constantly checking each other out these days, there's no way no one would have noticed & immediately called for help.

True but it was over in a split second easy to miss. I think it was more likely people would hear their conversation it's not like they were quite. He said multiple times loudly that he would kill her dad

how did her head/face not show trauma of the hit 

if it was enough to knock her out - it was enough for to cause a lump/swelling/bruise - you name it

I decided early on I'd need to suspend quite a lot of disbelief. They're getting on the same flight, on not that large a plane - belonging to an airline with a name like a bathroom deodorizer - yet part at the gate as though headed to different continents. (And would *you* assume that someone you "know" only as a hotel employee - not a manager - would be in first-class?) While talking to someone she's (still) friendly/semi-flirting with, she casually refers to the "cheap" vodka he'd bought her - right after just as unapologetically dissing the wine at her grandmother's funeral.

What I don't get - will someone please explain?! - is how the butt-ee is knocked unconscious while the butt-er is completely uninjured?! I was even more confused when she later did the same to him, as though she wasn't *perhaps* a little sore, as zip said.

1. they didn't part at the gates, but at the bar. and on purpose: Jack wanted to make a phone call and made Lisa feel uncomfortable as is she was thinking too much about their meeting, and she immediately backed off.

2. I would say a plane wasn't small: three rows, middle one with three seats.

3. the name was chosen on purpose: it was meant to be stupid

4. they were not in the first class

5. 'cheap vodka' -- the vodka was cheap, and they both knew it, and she was showing him that she thinks he has a sense of humour, is not self-conscious, savvy and intelligent. it was a compliment, even if disguised as a reproach.

6. he was injured: blood was running from his forehead.

How many times did you watch it?

Watch the scene again. You can see the two people sitting directly behind them, and they're both asleep. I doubt anyone else in the cabin would have noticed it unless they happened to be looking in their direction at that moment, and no one seems to be.
