Bad writing - could be solved so quick! (spoilers probably)
So the bad guy never does a routine call every x hour to keep the hitman in the BMW at bay. Which means, if the bad guy got apprehended at the plane, simply by screaming BOMB, this whole thing would be over. The dude in the BMW wouldn't know somehing went bad, and she could call her dad, make him leave the house out the back, and then call the cops. Murphy even states "he doesn't do something unless i tell him to".
And why tell people he need help? Why not scream bloody murder?
And at the airport, why not ask someone to borrow their phone?
Man this is sloppy writing.
