Do you think jackson knew about lisas past?

It seemed like he knew of her, rape all along..the comments he made about female logic, female emotions, the comments and emphasis he put on knives....

What do you think?

reply

No. That was one thing he couldn't possibly know even after watching her for eight weeks.

Will Graham: I don't find you that interesting.
Hannibal Lecter: You will.

If he did a background check he could have had access to medical records. Court records, etc...could have been in newspapers

Lisa seemed the type that would have pressed charges

She was obviously the type who hid in her flat or compensated through work. No friends, no nothing. As Jackson put it, a loner.

IMHO Jackson did not know and it was clear to me by look when he discovered the scar. Even his reaction to her story just before the attack with the pen shows that he didn't know.

I wonder if jackson would have sexually assaulted her in her home for revenge at the end if her dad hadnt stopped her?

The media, and hospitals, protect (conceal) the identity of victims of sexual assault, virtually without exception.

Nope. Lisa seemed to be the type who exactly didn't make that report to the police. She probably went to hospital to treat her cut but I dont think sh said how she got it.. I'm pretty sure (as many such victims) she just felt she cant talk about this and she tried to deal with it on her own: come on, she didnt even go to the shrink but resorted to the dr. Phil books from her father...
Sure as hell Jackson did a full background check and there were no records of this.
I think you can see the realization hit him when she explains "it happened in a parking lot". It was new to him and I guess a lot of pieces of the puzzle finally got to their place in his head.
