Don Embry... most annoying character?

I mean, he's a nice guy, but his character drives me absolutely insane. Anyone else find him incredibly annoying?

I find him overtly wimpy and Bill's pawn.

Bill: Here comes the bus, Don.
Don: You want me to throw myself under this one?
Bill: No. Maybe the next one.

I think if Don had been the main male character in Big Love we wouldn't all have been watching for very long.

Pro-Life, but also Pro Death Penalty?

Nicki is awful but she's empathetic because of what she went through as a kid. I love her, she's sassy and one of the funniest characters (and brilliantly played by Chloë Sev.), but Don is just whiny and annoying.

I think Nicki is the most complex character, and I like watching her stuff best, too.

I didn't like Nicki until the 3rd season. And then she became my favorite.

I wasn't annoyed by Don, he put up with so much crap from Bill I symphatized with him.

I agree, Bill constantly bullied him and went over his head (for example with Weber gaming) when Don had vetoed it, everyone who knew about it, Don, Joey and Lois told him to forget it, he was only going after it for revenge and he ignored them, but even if you choose to ignore the advice of people in your lives, Bill had no right to invest in a business which would have effected Don and his family also, Bill was a straight out bully and yes, perhaps Don should have been stronger but I would not call him annoying and certainly not the most annoying character, more annoying than Rhonda? I think not....

I wondered if Don attracted his wives when he was thinner. He might make a great catch for a repressed, religious lesbian, though, who figured she only had to see him once a week...

I felt bad for him a couple of times with all the stuff he went through, but he was like a big whiny baby and a total pushover. He annoyed me.
