When watching the show again I noticed something interesting. During the episode where Barb finds out about Nicky's debt she calls the credit card company and has the information for the whole family. Barb is listed as being born in 1974 (just a few months older than Nicky) Sarah is listed as Amanda being born in Dec of 1985 (Amanda Seyfrieds real birthday) and Ben is listed as being born in June of 1985 (the actors real birthday as well)

I vaguely recall us all discussing that paper then and it was loaded with errors. IIRC they even used one or two cast members names instead of actual character names.
The stuff regarding the ages of Margene (and Nicki at some point) were all over the place.
Bill Paxton was probably playing Bill a little younger than he was supposed to be and I think the same went for Chloe playing Nicki.
This is listed as a goof in the main page.
I always saw Nikki though as being in her 30's (Chloe and I are the same age actually) because of the linear way shows like to frame characters i.e. a wife in her 40s, one in her 30s and one in her 20s.
The birthdate's that came across wrong was therefore Barb's which should have been 64, Sarah should have been '89 and although Margene was lying about her age anyway it should be about '85/86 but she added a couple of years on to that so the paper should have said '83.
Maybe I am imagining it but I am sure at one point early on in the series they said Bill was 50, which is the same age as Paxton?
